Spring Meadow Pastel 9 x 12

$200.00 + $10.00 S/H

This is a pastel that I did on location a couple of weeks ago while on my way to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This is a beautiful valley just before Buena Vista and the spring flowers in the meadow were stunning.

Lazy Day's of Summer Acrylic 6 x 6

$100.00 + $10.00 S/H

Oh what memories this little scene brings back. When I stumbled upon this swing I knew I had to paint it. Capturing a piece of my childhood even for a day was fantastic.

Vibrant Reflections Acrylic 7 x 5

SOLD

Bringing color onto the ground isn't a problem in this composition. I think one of the reasons I like painting rain scenes is reflections pull color to place you don't usually see it. It's like a two for one sale at the grocery store.

Tuscan Morning Acrylic 6 x 6

This painting brings back such good memories of my trip to Italy. I walked outside and this was the first thing I saw on a beautiful Tuscan morning.

Urban Dusk Acrylic 6 x 6

SOLD

This was a rainy evening in Denver. The light was just about to subside so much that I almost couldn't get the shot. I love the atmosphere in this piece.

The Big Blue Easy Acrylic 7 x 5

SOLD

This lady had such a confident stride and was deep in thought because when I complimented her on her blue umbrella she wasn't even aware that I had spoken to her. Then I looked closer and figured out she was listening to her IPOD. Am I bad?

Outdoor Ambiance Acrylic 6 x 6

SOLD

The new trend is to bring the inside ambiance to the outside. This little cafe did just that. The smell and sounds of the cafe were right in front of me. It was fun to experience it while taking pictures.

This is a scene from my travels to France, Paris specifically. I roamed the streets for days taking pictures of anything I could. Paris is now one of my favorite city's to paint.

Just before sunset is my favorite time of day and in Italy it was absolutely magical. The tranquil feeling was what inspired this painting.

Late Afternoon Acrylic 5 x 7

The light in this image is what really caught my eye. Sometimes I take for granted the spectacular quality to the light in the southwest, it's so crisp and clean that often times I get comments from people that it can't actually look like that. Oh,... but it does and what fantastic paintings it makes! I hope it speaks to you as much as it does to me.

Stormy Acrylic 5 x 7

SOLD

I was driving around town on the hunt for my rainy scenes. I was using the view finder of my camera as guidance in traffic. It makes for some interesting driving skills but fantastic compositions. This storm had just roared past over the hill and I was in its wake to capture the essence of its effect on the city.

Three Wheeler Acrylic 7 x 5

SOLD

Finding interesting images to paint isn't hard for me. One of the aspects of creating these daily paintings is that I can explore and paint so many of the images that excite my creative process that otherwise wouldn't get painted for along time. This one happens to be a scene taken last fall in Denver. The three wheeled buggy was taking newlyweds to their wedding reception! Enjoy!

I just enjoy painting people and landscapes and I get to do both in this composition. This young lady was watching a race in the park. It was a rainy spring day here in Denver.
